New Starbucks App Now Available on Windows Phone

Starbucks recently refreshed and unified its official mobile app that lets users load and reload Starbucks gifts cards and pay for items right from their iPhone or Android or BlackBerry. Now Windows Phone users can get in on at least some of the caffeine-laced goodness from their devices as well.

While not as feature-rich as its counterparts, the My Starbucks Card for Windows Phone will let users add one gift/reward card to their Starbucks account (provided you have one, if not, sign up here), and buy items by showing a bar code to the barista who can scan the code with their POS (Point Of Sale) device.

According to the developer, future updates will include the ability to check rewards points as well as load multiple gift cards, but the important hipster feature of simply showing your Starbucks barcode to pay for expensive goods is ready for you to try out for $0.99 in the Windows Phone Marketplace.
