No value card sets off alarm

No value card sets off alarmWell yup it happened, I got the alarm to set off with a couple of plain Jane cards from Home Depot. Really they weren't nothing fancy, no value. Humph one of many to come I guess. I did ask once how much of a minimum to pay for one, they wanted $10 and it wasn't really worth $1.00. I am finding cards on eBay for $0.01, damn stamp/S&H is costing more than the card. What a kookie collectable for starters.
Re: No value card sets off alarmMust have been something else. There is no where on a card to put the tracking chips. Did you notice a tag on the carrier? Was it a store card or a Visa/MC?
Re: No value card sets off alarmI checked all the Home Depot cards once I was in my truck so if there was a tracking chip I'd let the forum know which one. I wouldn't dare try for a Visa or Master Card nor any prepaid phone cards. I know not to even consider them. At first I had thought it was this card. You'd pull on Santa stuck in the chimney and up pops the house with the gift card you'd insert. Sometimes a backer like this I want to keep intact.
