What some have defined an image that flip flops changing the image I was glad to finally have a name referred to the moving flip flop action......LENTICULAR. :D

Yep, that's partially correct. There are different types of lenticular - the type you mention that "flip-flop" as well as one with the non-moving true 3D effect. The technology has been around for decades, only time will tell how well they age. The plastic that the little lenses are made from tend to yellow and become brittle over time.
