Coles Myer Group Cards Australia

Coles Myer Group Cards Australia

Postby Swansong14 » Sun Nov 04, 2012 11:16 pm

the order of display of these cards in the gallery is incorrect card no CGM 151 is for instance after CGM 15. This is as if it is a subset of CGM 15.
It is in fact number 151 of the series and should be displayed towards the end. This is also true of CGM 159 and a few others,

Also I have other cards not featured in the gallery but I have no way of uploading an image

thanks

Unfortunately this is how computers sort alpha-numeric fields. We could add zeroes to the smaller numbers, but that wouldn't be an accurate reflection of what is on the card. I'm open to ideas.

Hi Scott

thanks for the response I didn't realise the problem with computers reading alphanumeric codes. I would put a 0 in front of the first 99 cards as this problem is going to be ongoing as we are now in the 100s.

But thank-you for loading the images as it is a great resource for collectors.

regards

I think it could be fixed if 01-99 were entered with a space in front ... like
CGM 14
CGM (space) 14 - then the 100 #'s enter with no space CGM100 and it should fall into order.

I did the first page and it works -- someone feel free to do the second page :)
